More Christmas presents revealed...

Yesterday was another lazy day at Mavis's house...

I pretty much stayed in my flannel pj's all day...

again...

For no better reason than... I could. The handsome husband has been home for days now and it's too cold to go outside and do anything productive so I've just been lounging around eating lemon tarts and calling him on his cell phone when I've needed another cup of tea...

But around 4pm when I DID finally manage to get up I brought my camera along with me...

The basil I planted a few weeks ago is coming along...

The first true leaves are starting to appear...

After my outing to PANERA yesterday... I stopped by the library and picked up a few books and dvd's... I haven't opened this book up yet but I sure like the photo on the cover...

These looked interesting as well... I can't decided which one I want to try first...
what do you think.... Hip Hop or Line Dancing?

Finally...
it's was my turn... I was on the waiting list
for like 2 months to borrow this...

But everybody knows... you can't watch a movie without popcorn...

And it wasn't any old popcorn... It was a YARD of POPCORN...

While the popcorn was popping I changed into my new flannel popcorn pj's...
Are they cute or what? I think these will be my official "movie viewing" pj's...

The whole family watched the movie...
and if you haven't seen it yet... you should.
I thought it was very well made...

  1. Perfection. The deal is though, if you ever feel the need to get rid of it (and I don't know why you would) you have to just give it back to me. Maybe next Christmas ;)

  2. We just watched this movie last night and I told my whole family that I want a leg lamp!!! This is way too weird---that you guys got that lamp and all.

Those lemon tarts look really good. I may have to try them.

I'm a popcorn freak who has been living on generic (read "stale and tough") popcorn and is craving some fancy stuff. My parents gave me some beautiful homegrown p-corn, but I have yet to inspire Mr. H into winnowing it.

  3. Leopard Girl... sadly... I don't think the Handsome husband will be giving up his leg lamp anytime soon... but I'll go ahead and write your name on the bottom of it just in case :)

MamaJJ... you can order the "life size" leg lamp online for about $165... however if you want it delivered in an official wooden crate with FRAGILE painted on the side it will cost an additional $150.

  4. My brother-in-law was just talking about this lamp this weekend- I've never seen the movie. Too weird for me. Now, if it was a man's leg.... Nope. Still too weird.

  5. Thyhand... Thank goodness for the HOA (I never thought I'd say that) otherwise the leg lamp would be in the front window for all too see :)

I LOVE comments BUT if you know who we are...due to the fact that we are currently enrolled in the international witness relocation program because of a moon shining incident in Dingle, Ireland involving 3 Mutton, a pair of red shoes and a road flare .... please do not reveal our personal information.... You know.... like names, places, or our favorite brand of toilet paper :) Hey, thanks!
