  1. I really didn't think it was fair for me to sign up for this giveaway since I am not really a gardener (yet) ~ but I had to come by and see how you would do this! Well ~ it was very creative Mavis ~ had no doubt it would be! :)

AND ~ on another note...your voice sounds a little like "Anne" from Anne of Green Gables ~ Megan Follows. Have you seen that movie?

    Have a great weekend!

  2. You have a GORGEOUS voice! Yo-Yo, who is washing dishes, said, and I quote, "She has a nice, high-pitched voice. I wonder if she could sing tenor...or soprano..."

And that was, by FAR AND AWAY, the most creative prize-picking method I have ever yet laid eyes on.

  3. Mavis!! Whooohooooooo!! Jamey and Sam heard me yelp from the other room as I was cheering on your chickens. I am SO excited- thank you!! And I LOVE that I got to hear your voice. What a fun way to choose a winner. Highly original indeed!!

  6. That was captivating! And, Jennifer Jo/JJ, trust me, you don't want to hear her sing :)

  7. For a moment there, I thought your lovely girls could hear my thoughts about how much I wanted that book and wished I could have lovely chickens that live in a green eglu in my backyard. Alas, I will have to be happy with the free fertilizer from my rabbits and be sad they don't lay eggs.

  8. Jen... too bad the rabbits don't lay eggs...but I bet they sure are cute :) We have a few wild ones around here that usually come around in the summer. I love bunnies!

I LOVE comments BUT if you know who we are...due to the fact that we are currently enrolled in the international witness relocation program because of a moon shining incident in Dingle, Ireland involving 3 Mutton, a pair of red shoes and a road flare .... please do not reveal our personal information.... You know.... like names, places, or our favorite brand of toilet paper :) Hey, thanks!
