Because I can't think of a better thing to do in the middle of a heat wave (85 degrees in Seattle) than to can tomato sauce, bake a pie, make french bread and crappy salsa all in one day....I basically stayed in the kitchen for 12 hours.....
The handsome husband wandered into the kitchen around lunch time and I told him if he wanted to be fed then he would have to knead some dough for me......
I asked him to make one baguette and 12 rolls...as per the recipe....apparently translated into Gaelic this means 1 fat loaf like thing and 5 man sized rolls.....
Then he walked away and said I could bring him his lunch in the office......then I said "would that be the garage or the bathroom?"
So here is our daily bread...1 man loaf and 5 giant rolls
Gotta love it when the hubby helps with the cooking! Are those stoneware pans in the picture?
