A total waste of $2.75

In a moment of weakness.....I decided to make this pie....
I got in the car, drove to the grocery and spent $2.75 out of my meager food dollars on 8oz of bittersweet baking chocolate......everything else I already had on hand.
And because I have no ability to follow directions whatsoever.... I started cooking the filling in a double boiler instead of a regular saucepan....
I did manage to add the milk at the right time though....
See...this is where I put the mixture into a saucepan......
you would think someone with self diagnosed OCD would be able to follow directions....well...obsesivly...
maybe I don't have OCD after all.....hmmm...

Hello....Mr. Grocery Store man....is it possible to return a 1/2 package of bakers chocolate for 1/2 my money back... I don't know it yet but this chocolate pudding pie that I am making sucks big time.....and I regret my extravagant purchase.
add chopped chocolate to mixture and bring to a boil for 2 minutes
spoon mixture in baked pie crust
and with great anticipation place said chocolate pie in the frig....covered in plastic wrap...which by the way I DO NOT reuse.....
Whipity Do Daaa....
Spoon mass amounts of whipty do da onto chocolate pie...take one bite and say....
"this pie tastes like crap"....then ask the other people in your house what they think about it....

Survey says......4 out of 4 people at Mavis's house say: "This pie tastes like crap"
....needs more sugar and more of a custard like taste/texture
Oh well....at least there is a bunch of whip cream leftover for hot chocolate tomorrow morning...

I LOVE comments BUT if you know who we are...due to the fact that we are currently enrolled in the international witness relocation program because of a moon shining incident in Dingle, Ireland involving 3 Mutton, a pair of red shoes and a road flare .... please do not reveal our personal information.... You know.... like names, places, or our favorite brand of toilet paper :) Hey, thanks!
